Getting Ready to Celebrate!

Three days until we can celebrate the birth of Christ!

2,000 years ago on the other side of the world Jesus was born in place where no one would

believe a King could be born. A manger.

Christ came to save the world from sin.  We have not seen but we believe. I want to encourage

you this year to take time to read Luke 2, it is the Birth of Jesus.

Luke 2:11-12:

Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.  This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

As Holiday Nears

I have not posted for awhile and thought I would just reflect on the past few weeks that have gone by SO fast. First of all the weather has been so cold and I am always trying to keep warm.

Well I'm sure many of you are trying to keep warm...

Thanksgiving went by fast but at that time I really got to take time and really praise God for what He has done for me. As the next big holiday nears, Christmas, I am now being remembered of God's love more and more.

Jesus' coming is the greatest thing that ever happend to this world.

I also have some pictures that I have taken over the past few weeks that I would like to share and of course they were taken in warmer weather!

God has also been at work in many areas of my life and others and I just want to give thanks to Him. Some days can be really tough and I look back and just think, "God really helped me stand through that all."

So to end this brief reflection, here are some smiles of my sisters Kristen and Sara:
